TrymeB Posted July 28 Posted July 28 What does he mean by "you won't have to vote again in four more years"? He wi rig the elections a la Putin and win 99% of the vote share?
Sheep Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Kamala is going to win in a landslide. I have donated and will be voting for her but only support her out of necessity. 1 1 1
Selegend Posted July 28 Posted July 28 (edited) Most likely Trump. Biden didnt even have a chance Kamala now have a chance but I dont THINK she'll win, i have HOPES she'll. Everything still can work out, im excited, democrats had a GREAT week. Im not from the USA so this is an international POV. Edited July 28 by Selegend 2

I don't think anyone should get complacent with it - we really don't want another 2016. But she's running the right campaign so far and not shying away from clearly challenging Trump and Vance. This. 1
bad guy Posted July 28 Posted July 28 A lot of Kamala's "momentum" is the just the press rejoicing at the fact that Biden is finally out of the race and there is at least some chance Trump can lose. In a month it will become basically tied again. Kamala has an inconsistency issue policy wise that, if smart, the Trump team will exploit in the debates. She's trying to veer more to the right, but many of her stances during her first run for presidency through 2020 will be called into question. If she bombs like she did in the first Dem debate when confronted with her past, then I think Trump may still win. We also don't know if voters will reject her simply because she was Biden's right hand person (although my theory is that she was given nothing to do in that administration and was severely under-utilized/scapegoated for Biden's ineptitude). But at least it doesn't feel like a Trump landslide anymore 1
ADMKHN Posted July 28 Posted July 28 Trump's minions are loud but I truly don't believe they're as widespread as people think. The Republican party is widely divided right now and a good amount are voting for Kamala, from what I've seen and read. It also helps having a woman as a candidate during a time where women's rights are at stake. Trump is toast. 1
EnoughSaid Posted July 28 Posted July 28 I think people want a change and a Kamala presidency would be good for media/pundits anyway, we've already seen how disastrous a Trump presidency is and a repeat is quite frankly boring
Abracadabra Posted July 28 Posted July 28 I still fear that Trump has the bigger chance atm, but I'm rooting for Kamala and I think she has a good shot. Trump seems to have peaked too early in the campaign and Kamala's entry into the race seems to have sent him into a tailspin.
BGKC Posted July 28 Posted July 28 I think Kamala has a strong chance at winning this, but I do have my doubts. She has to work overtime.
Relampago. Posted July 29 Posted July 29 I'm shocked so many of you think she'll win. I think our chances are better than ever, but not outstanding still. I think she'll struggle in a lot of key areas and she's riding a huge wave of positive energy that won't last forever. I'm rooting for her, I'm extremely hopeful for once, but if I was to bet money on who wins, I'd bet Trump still takes it. I hope I'm wrong though.
Bears01 Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Right now, I feel like Trump will still win, but Kamala has made up a lot of ground, and unlike with Biden where it was basically done, she actually has a chance and can close the gap and win it if she runs a good campaign. A strong debate performance and a good VP pick can carry a ton of momentum
TaggedGalaxy Posted July 29 Posted July 29 If you believe the 13 Keys method of predicting the Presidential outcome by Allan Lichtman, who has correctly predicted every Presidential Election since 1984 using this method, he is leaning heavily toward Kamala winning, in fact, although he doesn't want to make an official prediction until after the convention, he said it would take a lot to go wrong for Kamala to lose 7 1
Ramcoro Posted July 29 Posted July 29 I hope it's Kamala, but I feel like it's 50/50. Polls are still showing a close race with a slight edge towards Trump. It's still early.
Into The Void Posted July 29 Posted July 29 I want 8 people supporting Trump exposed make this poll public 3
HausOfPunk Posted July 29 Posted July 29 The country is so divided right now that I think both situations will not have good outcomes. Trump winning the presidency is self explanatory. But if Kamala wins, the MAGA pushback will be Jan 6th on steroids.

The Republican Party is possibly the most united it has been in 20 years. The idea of Never Trumper Republicans is mostly a media narrative that hasn't been evident in any Trump election. Trump drives Republican turnout in ways that other candidates just can't, even though Republicans have become a lot weaker locally Trump is still a hugely popular figure in the party and most anti-Trump voices have converted to MAGA or left the party. 1
NausAllien Posted July 29 Posted July 29 I support neither, but I think Trump will win. He's been consistently ahead in the national polls + the EC skews slightly Republican. He has also outperformed polls both in 2016 and 2020, particularly in the Rust Belt. I just don't see Kamala reversing this clear trend in just 100 days.
Oktober Knight Posted July 29 Posted July 29 I truly believe Dump will win mainly because people don't know much about Kamala and Trump will play any card he has in his sleeve. But she will win the popular vote. Either way, I support Harris and will continue encouraging others to do the same.
Gesamtkunstwerk Posted July 29 Posted July 29 As of now, I think Trump has the better chance, but it can change. It seems that Kamala Harris is having a bit of a moment and Trump is slightly trembling. Hard to tell.
