He's been trying his best to appeal to incompetent, straight white men and it's getting embarrassing. I have a gut feeling he's compensating for something. Every man (gay or straight) has a feminine side, whether they want to admit it or not. When JD Vance is home alone and no one is watching, I bet he likes to queen out in his bedroom and sing along to the popgirls using his wife's hairbrush.
