It feels like Charli is having a second breakthrough year with brat not only critically and as an albums artist, but making such an impact on social media and this year's presidental election.

  1. 1. If you've followed her for over 10 years, this should be an interesting question for you. Charli feels bigger in...

    • 2014 (her feature on Fancy being a huge global hit, scoring a second global hit with Boom Clap, and the release of the SUCKER album with the European & Australian hit Break The Rules)

    • 2024 (brat becoming her most successful album yet in both the US & UK, the excellent viral marketing the album got on social media, the attention multiple songs have gotten on streaming, and how her album has been embraced by the campaign for this year's Democratic candidate for president, Vice President Kamala Harris)

sky was not bigger than any of the artists mentioned in this thread in any year of her life.

Now her niche is only gays and Twitter, she can't even sell out an arena tour with Troye Sivan. s:wan:

The tour is literally doing fine? People keep clinging to those screenshots from when it was first announced as if yall don't know wow live shows are selling nowadays. Its +90% sold out, and will definitely sell out by the time it starts. 

 

2014 Charli wouldn't have sold out arena shows even with Fancy and Boom Clap.

 

Also using "only gays and Twitter" as a drag is very weird especially on a place filled with homosexuals. Like okay? That's still a big demographic and enough to sell out arenas? And it's not even entirely true. You'd be surprised at the amount of girls at Charli and especially Troye's live shows lol.
