leyaris11 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I have a love-hate relationship with this song. The instrumental is nice, sleek, chic and chill. Her vocal is smooth and cute But I am not a big fan of Britney's mid-tempo. However, sometime I revisited this song and like it, but still not a lead single worthy. Do you like "Make Me"? 2
tjspy Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Its an absolute masterpiece and next time put the correct video on the OP 5
ChooseyLover Posted July 23 Posted July 23 (edited) I like it, in fact I loved it when she released it. Her weakest lead single? Maybe. But that's just cause it's a midtempo like you said, and the others are on a whole other level. There's nothing bad about the song. I even like the G-Eazy verse. Edited July 23 by ChooseyLover 2
naval23 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I was obsessed with it when it came out Cuz you're the spark that won't go out My heart's on fire when you're around 1
Migs Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I love it! It's such a sexy song and the most different lead single she's ever released. What killed it was that boring video. The original one was so much better! 1
magazine Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Yes. Is it like this super bop smash lead single? No. But it has other qualities and it's very cohesive with the album 1
alfonso12 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 No, her worst lead single ever and it sounds dated af nowadays. 1 1

I mean not all her mid-tempo songs are bad. MM is cute but not a lead material, "Just Luv Me" should be the lead. 3 minutes ago, naval23 said: I was obsessed with it when it came out Cuz you're the spark that won't go out My heart's on fire when you're around Yeah, my fav part is: I just want you to make me move Like it ain't a choice for you, like you got a job to do Just want you to raise my roof Something sensational... 3 minutes ago, Migs said: I love it! Is it me that I am prefer the girlies version mv over the other one. That one is light-heart and cute for the song like mm. The boy version seems a little bit over the top for me. 3 minutes ago, Heldenzeit said: Yes, it's such a good and fun pop song. Sure! The best song on the album is a midtempo (Mood Ring). Just Luv Me sounded very Selena/Justin for my taste but I learned to love it. I'm actually fine with Make Me as lead, if only they used the original MV. I wonder if it's true Britney hated it (we got some behind the scenes where it seemed she wasn't having fun) or it was just the cship acting weird as usual. I would have loooved to see Liar and Man on the Moon as singles. Edited July 23 by ChooseyLover 1
Heldenzeit Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Ask for opinions and then give responders attitude for it. Never change, ATRL. 1

I would said mm is a WEAK lead single, Womanizer is the worst lead single, that song is super annoying repetitive and generic recycling pop track. 2

Onyxmage Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Yes i feel like it was a different sound for her and also sounded mature. The video on the other hand was 1
Punky Rooster Posted July 23 Posted July 23 It's fine, I never listen to it though. I prefer the song it lifts from more, Nicki + Rihanna's Fly.
