Nico Robin Posted July 23 Posted July 23 they are both very personal albums with different themes more or less but different kind of genre. Both absolute bangers tho
Jay07 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 (edited) Hmmm... they're both personal albums but I think the two artists are at different points in their lives and concerned with different things. Charli cares about her place in the industry and potentially settling down while still being a BRAT and Chappell cares about discovering herself and living her truth fully, being in love and being in lust. They're my two albums of the summer though (i discovered Chappell late like everyone else). Edited July 23 by Jay07 1
Popboi. Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I mean, both have a lot of personality but you can tell Charli had a clear vision when making the album and Chappell just poured a lot of sounds and ideas she was trying out (it is a debut that took years to make after all)
JoeAg Posted July 23 Posted July 23 no, the only comparison that has ever made sense to me with Brat is Supernature by Goldfrapp. those two albums are two sides of the same coin imo
mons†er Posted July 23 Posted July 23 no, they give White Gay who lives in Bushwick and only wears natural deodorant. 3

I'm very interested in seeing how it'll age beyond this year for me
worldwide angel Posted July 24 Posted July 24 well written coming-of-age pop albums with dance sensibilities (you can throw a shower concert with these tracks )
