31 weeks with over 200,000 debut, no promotion, barely an official single, no videos. Just social media presence :jonnycat: and a sold out world tour to boot?

If that's failure than the other girls need to take some notes on how to fail similarly, seeing some of them can't even get another album out or charting and/or need to get viral hits to remain partly relevant.

Obviously we all know PF2's entire era has been a rousing success, and a return to Nicki being on top. Regardless of the seething.

She truly is the queen.

She did a stream with the most popular streamer, released multiple editions, had playlisting, had radio for 3 singles, did multiple interviews, covered VOGUE, had multiple VMA performances and HOSTED... like... Shes outdoing the rap girls but let's not lie ddsldjfldsaj She Definitely had promotion.

The VMA'S was months before her album even came out tho sis, I don't think we can say her hosting the VMA's was part of the PF2 press run (save for Big Difference sneak peak)

She did the stream and a few things but let's not act like she did some traditional full album rollout. It was very sparse and not extremely visible.

The album and singles did well from word of mouth, a fanbase, and organic gp discovery/curiosity :michael:

Well no, she performed a whopping 3 tracks from PF2 at the VMAS. 2 singles and she previewed another. We have to also remember the album was expected to come like a month and a half after the VMAS aired. It was certainly apart of the press run. She absolutely did a traditional rollout for todays standards sans MVs. Everybody and FTCU did very well on radio. Was GP interest mixed in there? Yes… but I don't think we should pretend sis just dropped an album outta nowhere

i think what should be said is she abandoned the era and didn't allow it to live up to its full potential

I wish FTCU did very well on radio. It would have been an easy Top 10 peak, but that never happened. Also, I wouldn't say that she abandoned the era, but rather missteps (mostly caused by her own doing) caused the album not to reach its full potential. I mean, she did try to push Pink Friday Girls to Pop radio in June, several months after the buzz from the album was gone.
