Onyxmage Posted July 23 Posted July 23 This album is nothing new for Charli, the internet and people finally just caught up to her genius song making. 1
Pop Fan Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Nothing. It just feels bigger than it actually is. The album is performing similar to the Benson Boone and Shaboozey debuts

Junho_lover Posted July 23 Posted July 23 It has such impact like everything was done so smartly. From the cover and promoting style like it is just so Julia and a breath of fresh air. It comes off cool and authentic for Charli and so bring onward the Brat summer baby!
Pop Fan Posted July 23 Posted July 23 The album debuted at #3 in the US and has already left the BB Top 10 after 3 weeks. It had a #2 debut in the UK. It also has zero Top 40 hits on BB Hot 100. BRAT is the only album that failed: -to debut at #1 in the US -to debut at #1 in the UK -to produce a Billboard Top 40 hit Other pop girlies just couldn't do this. BRAT ended all of them! 1 2

unclefloprry Posted July 23 Posted July 23 (edited) That "cultural impacf" should help her sell that tour (10k venues) with Troye Sivan. Edited July 23 by unclefloprry
HonourableVomit Posted July 23 Posted July 23 end of the decade 2029, BRAT appears on multiple publications top 10s, praised for its iconic combination of music and visuals. people look back at 2024 thinking about that one particular shade of green and the concept of a 'brat summer'. Taylor's sales are discussed in some Billboard article that 3 people read. a moment most pleasing 2

Pillz Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Stayed in her own lane and excelled at it like no one else. She did not try to be like anyone else. This is a decade defining album 1
Dante Silva Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Ever since the the evolution of contemporary music arrived at the usage of syncopated beats in the mid 1970's (under the former guise of "Disco"), every musical era has since needed a female face/ voice/ representative of each evolving era of beat driven music. Each face changes with the evolution/ nuance/ era of technology that produces those beats and in context of that evolution the zeitgeist has decreed Charli to be the face/ voice/ representative of beat driven/ syncopated beats in the now (despite her lesser rivals who covet the position she holds).

Fortnight debuting with 25M streams and +600 points on the Hot 100 only to leave it after 5 weeks is more impressive i fear
