teresaguidice Posted July 23 Share Posted July 23 i hadn't heard this song in like a decade and listening now the production sounds like a pop-punk avril style mix was pasted with a dr luke tiktok style mix with no blending. it sounds awful. this made me curious who produced this and its john shanks who seems like was an it-producer in the mid 00s for pop rock sound. he's all over kelly clarkson's breakaway, michelle branch's album, ashlee simpson's autobiography, liz phair, lindsay lohan's speak, early hilary duff. this song is clearly him trying to transition to the sound of the time to stay relevant and failing.
