Mezter Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Just last week it seemed like the Democratic Party gave up but little did we know they were plotting the perfect rollout 2
Popular Post Capris Groove Posted July 22 Popular Post Posted July 22 (edited) This was all so expertly done that I can only imagine Nancy Pelosi had a hand in strategizing it. She is, after all, incredibly skilled at political chess. The timing was impeccable, right after the Vance VP pick and more importantly, right after the shooting, which this has completely usurped in public attention and focus. Of course Trump and his team are seething right now, it's the first time they've been on the defensive, perhaps ever. The Democratic campaign has been revived and turbo-charged from the wobbling zombie it was a week ago. The endorsements, fundraising, viral posts, and attention are all there and this is without the VP pick yet. Which is sure to be immaculate. Like when Obama picked Biden in 2008. Same energy right now. As for Kamala, she's been clunky and we all know about that trademark cackle, however for the past several months she's been the most seasoned, serious, and connected I've ever seen her. All she needs is the right team etc. and she could usher in a reset. She needs to stay the course, focused and disciplined. If she does, at the mininum, she gets the Obama coalition to whatever degree. And she is ready for the debate stage - but Trump is not, he wanted Biden. He'll do poorly against her. Really strong strategizing that again I believe has been in the works for some time. Edited July 22 by Capris Groove 19

Bethenny Frankel Posted July 22 Posted July 22 Kamala's two speeches today were easily the best in her career, she looked and sounded very presidential 1

Relampago. Posted July 23 Posted July 23 For the first time since maybe 2016, I don't have an overwhelming feeling of dread and despair. I don't know that Kamala will win, but finally having a candidate who's videos and pictures from their past not being in black and white is so ****ing nice I really hope the US sees her as a new beginning and a new chance. Her politics are still basically your run of the mill democrat (we won't see much change from a Biden admin to a Kamala one, lbr) but for once I feel like identity politics really do matter a bit here. Age wise, gender wise and race wise, the US and the world need to see that old white men aren't the only option and shouldn't be the only option when there's plenty to pull from outside of that demographic. 6
