The label even invested in focus groups with influencers and TikTokers to strategise making the song a hit. Unfortunately, even Katy believed this could be her comeback era. Instead, it's gone from bad to worse. Millions are ridiculing her, the track is plummeting down the charts, and she's now being labeled as problematic as Nicki Minaj. I doubt she's spiraling, freaking out, or going back to the drawing board. Katy, her A&R, and everyone around her are very dumb, delusional, and out of touch and this campaign only further confirms it. Like it is impossible not to expect a huge backlash following Luke's involvement.
