broolprop3 Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Just drop the album she could release early the physicals can keep the same date
alexrex Posted July 20 Posted July 20 (edited) Drop the album and radically accept the outcome Cut ties with Dr Luke and his team Reflect on what feminism and womanhood really are beyond my privileged bubble Make amends with Kesha Retire Edited July 20 by alexrex 1
SimpleKindofLife Posted July 20 Posted July 20 I would retire, clearly she's creatively depleted and that's okay
needs Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Scrap the entire era, hit up a Greg Kurstin or a Benny Blanco or even ******* Jack and come back with something else. As generic and unoffensive as possible. And get new visual ideas that feel more authentic and not like they were ripped from Arca's IG circa 2019/2020. It isn't that hard but she's dumb and stubborn.
Sazare Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Pivot to literally anything other than music at this point. She has options, but her days as a pop star are well behind her.
Riverbank Posted July 20 Posted July 20 At this point, the only positive scenario I can imagine is someone leaking the entire album and her being forced to rush release it or scrap it altogether so she can move on and forget any of this happened. I don't think there's anything she can do to salvage this era. The writing was on the wall the second she posted that "sexy confident" TikTok
Cheers Posted July 21 Posted July 21 1. Occasionally release DJ collabs like Ava & Bebe are doing 2. Become host of a talkshow ala Kelly Clarkson. Occasionally perform on it. 3. Use talk-show audience to launch and promote a new business venture. 4. Do animated voice-overs for some netflix cartoons. Ex: Gabby's Dollhouse which is all about cats. 1
Sannie Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Might as well push forward and not give up. I guess that's kind of admirable. But ultimately, I would step back and bit and not be in the limelight so much. Her continuing a bunch of promo just makes it feel pointless and desperate. Just release what you have planned, focus on your fans, and quietly move on. If you keep trying to make it all hit like she's clearly trying, it comes off as a bigger failure than it is. 1
The7thStranger Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Step one: Blow Orlando. Step two: Scrap Woman's World and 143 entirely. Step three: Contact Jennifer Decilveo, Guy Sigsworth, Dev Hynes, and Rotsam. Step four: Spend a few years writing and crafting some experimental and catchy pop songs. Step five: Praise Robyn, Carly Rae Jepsen, Beth Ditto, and Lykke Li in the media. Step six: Make Anthony Fantano and Pitchfork admit that I've finally made a great album from start to finish. Step seven: Small and short comeback tour. 1
Mikeymoonshine Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I wouldn't work with DR Luke lol. The not addressing it tactic isn't working for her, she's a legacy act she needs stan culture to hype up her releases. I don't know what she expected? WW isn't an ear worm or particularly catchg and most fandoms aren't supporting it. At this point maybe scrap the whole project and try again later though this has perhaps ruined her reputation for good. 1
MatiRod Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Start work on a more acoustic, singer songwriter type album to release next year. I feel like a sound like Dido's first two albums would work amazing for her. The pop diva thing is not working as everyone can see. Work with up and coming new writers and producers. Basically, try something very different.
