I listened to her debut album and I enjoyed some of the songs on her album and I like the good luck babe song a lot.

Yes. You're deaf if you've actually given her album a chance and still think it's "unwashed ***" or whatever

Her album better than the other new girls like Sabrina, Olivia, etc

She's trash. Femininomenon came on at Urban Outfitters the other day and I was cringing so hard. Dan did ok with the music'. But the lyrics are irredeemably crap. She's gonna be a fad. Also saw her open for Olivia & she was terrible. She's def demonstrating the difference between being distinct & being iconic as well as being camp & being shamelessly tasteless. It's all so post-RPDR in a way that makes queer culture feel normative & boring. Incredible knack at branding, though, can't fault her entrepreneurial instincts. But the gimmick is gonna wear thin & she won't be left with anything that differentiates her from her competition

Her music doesn't really match her visual dramatics in my opinion. It's very Olivia'd

It's extremely mid. She's just a current thing to obsess over on the internet, she needs to step it up quality wise or she'll be forgotten by Xmas

obviously! i haven't fully clicked with any of the ballads or slower material, but the songs that are bops i'm obsessed with - all 10/10, with great lyrics, vocals and production. what isn't to like? :bird:

I need to give her other listens but so far nothing has impressed me.

Absolutely, I love that she's a lesbian, I love that she belts and doesn't whisper, I love the synthpop sound, I think her voice is super versatile, and her looks have become iconic already. Like I can't even imagine the amount of people who are gonna be her for Halloween this year. She's undeniably a unique person and an absolute star.

Yeah like others have said, I like her upbeat stuff but I'm not really sold on her ballads.

Planning on buying the album when I get paid.

Her music hasn't clicked with me but I appreciate that she gives fresh and interesting artistry

Some of it is actually great. The rest is pretty generic.

She's fab and looks amazing tho.

Unfortunately I couldn't connect with her or her music at all.

I gave the album listen, 3 full times. Then I watched some interviews hoping maybe her personality will help me connect with her music, but sadly, again with no luck.

Her songs are not bad, her singing skills are very good, it is just doesn't click with me.

I listened to her album last week and it's a nice album. I expected some artsy fartsy sad indie girl music, but it's nothing of the sort.

It's exactly what I think of her.

I think she's not a bad artist, but I can't get into her work. She seems like another season girl, she won't stay for long. But we'll see, I wish her good career.

Right? The first time I listened to it I expected something weird given her looks and aesthetic, but some songs could very well have been written by Bonnie Mckee.

She's gonna be truly great in the future, anyways. You just can tell that.

Other than Casual her music is just okay to me. Still kinda the best thing Gen Z has had to offer other than Addison Rae who is leagues ahead of course.

I just think she's lacking the budget…? :skull: I fear with some popular directors and more label investment she could serve very hard

Yes, I love her album. You think people just freak out because someone is wearing a wig in 2024?

Yeah, the album took a minute to click with me but now I love it and GLB is stunning.

That's how you know she has made it! Every big pop girl has their haters.
