Badgalbriel Posted July 17 Posted July 17 It's crazy how Ariana career kind of went flat after the pandemic. Even her albums that were supposed to be her mega classics like TU,N ended up being forgotten eventually. 1 1

Both positions and eternal sunshine had several songs that could've smash: - Motive (501M) which has Doja Cat and went viral - Off The Table (the weeknd) - Safety net) - pov - supernatural - true story - eternal sunshine - bye and even the intro and thank u next could have more singles too (needy, bloodline, in my head, bad idea, nasa) She also took a 4 year break between her albums.

Yeah, I know. It's all on her, indeed.

Arianators need to make sure she steps it up instead of encouraging this behavior Like that cannibal tweet going viral should not be the reason for her to end ES era early and cancel the deluxe and any future singles
Axolotl Posted July 19 Posted July 19 It's still criminal how the public treated her after that SNL performance back then. The backlash influenced all of the reviews for this album at the time. 1

Yes having a number 1 album with two number 1 singles is a great example of a career going flat. Streaming numbers are not everything. BTD is in the middle of a cultural re-evaluation and has clearly caught on with a new generation which explains why it is being streamed more; that doesn't somehow invalidate how huge thank u, next was at the time of its release. 1
