Glitter is better than Bodyguard and ASIB. Agreed?

If wasn't for 9/11 (with all respect), Glitter would have been HUGE.

Better movie

Better soundtrack

Better acting

Check check check.

Acting and movie, well, :suburban::suburban:

Soundtrack, yes, though. Aged like fine wine.

Oh, how I agree.

You don't know how much I love that movie. :cries:

And two years ago I was very lucky to watch it in a local cinema :cries:

and the soundtrack still remains one of my favorite records by her, lead the way and never too far alone :cries:

It's the first time I agree with you and it had to be over Glitter out of all things... :gaycat6:

I'm Every Woman and Run To You > glitter soundtrack > bodyguard soundtrack > ASIB soundtrack

The movies are bad. All of them. Hundreds of millions of dollars spent for rather cheap, flimsy end results

Never seen ASIB but no, it's nowhere near as good as The Bodyguard.

Rumor has it that Gaga wrote 911 as shade towards Glitter because she has always been fuming that Mariah's movie was better.

Spoiler

Glitter was not a good movie but the soundtrack was beautiful especially If We and Loverboy.

it's a better film and soundtrack than The Bodyguard (overall at least - I Have Nothing stomps on it in a song to song matchup), but ASIB is leading the pack imo

all three solid tho :alexz:

Thought this was about the soundtrack, an argument that could be made! But the movie? No.

come to think -- yes

Sorry no. Glitter was a horrible movie and the acting was embarrassing.

The soundtrack is very underrated though. The Bodyguard is tops even with only 6 good songs. ASIB has a few good songs but not a fan of the majority of it. Glitter as a whole is a more enjoyable listen.

You could argue about the soundtrack but ASIB (2018) was literally the Most Acclaimed film by a POP STAR :giraffe:

Barbie and Dua, sweeties

all three are corny, self-serious schlock tbh. melodramas without any self awareness. a star is born is by far the best acted and most polished, but is super overrated. bodyguard and glitter are at the same level though.
