¡Saludos, paisano/a!

Are there any Brazilians here who can at least tell us if Teresa was successful in their country?

In Brazil, Mexican telenovelas  have a large audience; they say that La Usurpadora has been the most successful foreign telenovela in that country.

But, as I said above, telenovelas have been on the decline, not only in Mexico, but all over the world.

Nope. We don't know who Teresa is over here :psyduck:

Maria La Del Bario

Marimar

La Usurpadora

These are the mexican telenovelas trinity over here. Just iconic and massive :alexz:.

Thalia was a phenomenom in Brazil in the early 00s. She's still beloved to this day because of the telenovelas. When she stepped foot in Brazil to go to TV shows, it was insane.

Aside from Betty la Fea and Pasion de Gavilanes it's probably the most iconic/popular telenovela of all time

The way teenage me was so obsessed with all 3 brothers from that show! Shirtless scenes in every episode, they literally made it for the gays :WAP:

The Brazilian telenovela O Clone had some wild plots.

Muneca Brava was also huge in my country.

I haven't seen much telenovelas except for rebelde, Teresa, and La Tempestad so I guess it's true lol
