Is Chromatica more impactful than it is credited?

If we look at the aesthetics of all the albums released by MPG, we can see that they are derived from Chromatica's aesthetics in different ways. The album is known as a fluke in Gaga's discography among stans, but is it more impactful than it is given credit for?

The album cover is iconic but let's not with the cover comparisons... most of those have little to nothing in common.  Like, "woman in center of square image" is not a Gaga thing.

WW is pretty similar to SL I guess. But radio would literally cut rain on me in half and focus on Aris part like it was her song where I'm from lol. The biggest station in my Provence.

It p***** me off cause I liked the song but it was only on for like a minute and a half lol

Chromatica was meh. Would of been better if not so watered down.

Chromatica album cover is literally perfection in every sense of the word. My god. :jonny:

The impact is clearly there. Some examples are easier to see than others, but it's there.

Of course this site won't ever give Gaga her flowers.

This seems like assortment of random covers but let me say yes anyway!

Chromatica impacted a lot of eras visually and musically, but she doesn't get the credit. Everyone deflects and says "She didn't invent X" but Gaga certainly brought them back and their creatives teams took the inspiration. The evidence is literally there lol.

No, next question

Stans are so unserious because this is giving a random collection of album covers pasted into collages.

Without context, you would think that they're showing what their favorite albums are:suburban:

what the concept should be?  the only one could be inspired is lil nas x cause the cover tries another "fantasy" world with these plastic aestetich? The rest what should be the same concept? Beyoncè covers and especially Miley and Halsey literally i don't see what they found

This is about album covers with the artists whole body on it, before Chromatica there was a trend of random pictures or the face of the main pop girl as the focus of the cover

after Chormatica and what those covers share are images of the MPG full body with cool art and dofferent settings, something like that

Also Arca's Kick  2, 3 and 4 album covers were super similar to her paper magazine shoot for Chromatica

(which is also coincidentally who Katy is ripping off with her 143 look)

Sorry but this is literally the most made up thing i've ever seen. Gaga inspired full-body covers? :rip:

I'm sorry but how do the Endless Summer Vacation and Renaissance covers look like the Chromatica one? :deadbanana2:

I can see the similarities with Planet Her and 143 but that's about it

Yes. But Gaga always influences more than she gets credit for, it's nothing new. She's constantly ahead of her time and it's very hard for others to accept that for some reason. She never ever followed a trend, for the exception of ARTPOP where she got influenced by 2011/2012 EDM music.

The Fame/Monster inspired a lot of artists. Born This Way was something totally new and Joanne inspired a wave of country/acoustic music (Miley Cyrus' "Younger Now", for example).

Chromatica's cover is incredible and definitely inspired Planet Her's aesthetic, like it inspired Perry's most recent release covers and aesthetic.

Nicki stay riding on that gaga blueprint I see but who can blame her?

Anyways, chromatica was way ahead of its time and didn't receive as much recognition as it should upon release

It truly is such a shame bc aside from the questionable lead single, the album was quite great and had huge replayability

We really cant argue with the facts
