Suilen Posted July 15 Posted July 15 No, and people should stop framing it as a "difference in opinions" when one party wants your rights gone. 6
nadiamendell Posted July 15 Posted July 15 No. The first thing I thought about was how I hoped the shooter wasn't someone on the left because I knew all hell would break loose. I also (am still am) thinking about how it will affect the election and rhetoric leading up to it. We all know that Trump and MAGA republicans would not show an ounce of sympathy if it were someone on the left that was hit. 3 1
Apolonio ₃₄ Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Hell no. He could have gotten his brains blown out and I wouldn't have felt the slightest bit of sympathy. 1 1
Sannie Posted July 15 Posted July 15 No. Hell no. When Nancy Pelosi's husband was beaten to a bloody pulp and nearly murdered by a crazed lunatic inspired by MAGA, every single person on the right made jokes about it, including Trump. Now I'm supposed to feel bad about this dude's papercut? Absolutely not. 6
suburbannature Posted July 15 Posted July 15 The man who mocked Pelosi's husband after a violent attack? The man who said we needed to get over it after school shootings? I think the **** not. Only reason I don't want him dead is to avoid a civil war, but I hope he suffers when he goes one day (and it won't be too far away considering how hard it was for his big ass to duck the bullets). 5
ATRL Administrator Ryan Posted July 15 ATRL Administrator Posted July 15 What assassination attempt? Nothing happened on 7/13. There was very fine people just walking outside. 5 1
SimpleKindofLife Posted July 15 Posted July 15 I only felt empathy for the shooter's family who's gonna have to endure harassment from his cult for the rest of their lives 1 2
Sprite Posted July 15 Posted July 15 No. He's often mean and nasty and seems like he just hates everyone, so it was bound to happen at some point. 1 1
LittleCupid Posted July 15 Posted July 15 Nope, thankfully the shooter was a White Republican gun nut so they can't blame minorities or LGBT people for this. 3 2
Into The Void Posted July 15 Posted July 15 I only feel sad that it's just gonna make him easier to win the election
commander Posted July 15 Posted July 15 No, because only KKK members and adjacents would sympathize with him.
BadHabits Posted July 15 Posted July 15 I will never feel bad for someone who is actively and aggressively trying to undo gay marriage, abortion rights and increase abuse and violence against the LGBT+ community and people of religious and ethnic minorities. Someone who doesn't care about children enough to introduce gun reform or to go after pdfs, Epstein's clients, sex traffickers and pharmas who caused the Fentanyl epidemic. 3

Differences in opinion is disagreeing on what the best Charli XCX album is, not having political outlooks which are diametrically opposed. 3
