You're not making sense. Wishing death on anyone, not just political elites or elites in general, is digesting and wrong!

Let me make it simple: if you choose money over preserving human life (which politicians and billionaires do) I feel no need to view their life as having any value. If they were to show some humanity and care for their fellow man I would afford them the same respect.

I think some people deserve death... Hitler, Stalin, the Kim Dynasty come to mind.

I ofc would never wish death on anyone... (other than Mr and Mrs Waterford ofc), but some people were just too evil and their death was literally a freeing and uniting moment.

U think Biden has any better promo lined up than Trump: Hero of Democracy, Survivor and Warrior for Truth?

EVEN The Young Turks and other radical left media call Trumpy a Hero now.

That message is too strong.

i've certainly been very flippant in the past but i'd really recommend everyone be very careful of what they say online now. there will be a new level of online surveillance even with people just making jokes.

I disagree, but who knows, anything can happen

No u are wrong. Trump already has his base, who was gonna vote for him anyway. It's gonna suddenly make dems wanna vote for him. Trump is adored by his base but he's also hated by lots of people.

I think he can win the women vote and the LGBTQ vote, The Latinos and Black votes now as well...

That narrative of being a Hero is simply too strong. Women and Gays can relate to the message, I do believe.

I predict, he will win between 490 - 510 delegates this election (leaving about 25-28 for Joe Biden).

For a prez that just survived, most people on twitter are clowning on the situation and it hasn't even been a day....

the fact that he didn't get universal sympathy even for a day speaks volumes.

You people need to stop acting like wishing death on the politically elite or the elite in general make people morally bankrupt. These people do not give to shits about the average humans' life and happily sign laws and make decisions that wind up killing hundreds if not thousands in order to put money in their own damn pockets.

I think it's just ironic more than anything. Like imagine if he did get his brains blown out and liberals everywhere did celebrate the loose gun laws that caused it. What's next after that? Demanding stricter gun laws amidst a civil war? And people wonder why democrats are so inconsistent.

The fact that the shooter was almost certainly a right winger changes the political calculus on this a bit, maybe. I still think this is the end for Biden though

I do agree with your point. It is ironic for liberals to be wishing for successful political terrorism against the other side of the isle. My point is more from a class vs class stand point (I don't feel the need to for having sympathy for politicians or billionaires now matter what their political ideology).

I also am very confused how liberals and people in minority groups aren't more concerned about how this will encourage radicals to become more blatantly aggressive and commit acts of violence against minorities and others who they don't feel line up with their beliefs.

This was a rock thrown at the hornets nest, a nest that has been being agitated and whipped in to a damn near blood thirsty frenzy by its leaders.

No matter who you vote for this type of action is just ****** up. No one deserves to go through something like this. It's sad that it's 2024 and these things still happen.
