Well it debuted with more streams than the last one and he has more sales gimmicks this round + a better vinyl sales market overall so it doesn't seem like a stretch at the moment

 

edit: his webstore says the vinyl doesn't ship until October???   okay maybe this is a reach. Unless the initial orders sold out and this is the order date for a second pressing

Slightly better streaming but reception seems to be horrible and even then, his last album did "only" 150k SEA, let's assume he does better, how much better? 200k? And pure will only be digital, which he sells nicely plus he has bonus tracks exclusive on digital but still best outcome is what 100k?

In the best best scenario is 200k + 100k (which are 2 things that will most likely won't happen)

Some of you really underestimate his ability to sell very well even with digital

His last album did 280k without physicals as well, without any exclusive tricks (this time it does have 2 versions with bonus tracks), and with worse streaming stats.

 

HDD is probably being very reasonable with +300k. And his fans did liked the album, the reviews doesn't matter, he never was critically acclaimed anyway despite his obvious impact on culture.
