Em is 25+ years into his career and went #1 without any physical copies!! His longevity is amazing!! Artists in their fifties could only dream of the success that he has now. Congrats to my GOAT

Not really strange though, week 7-8-9 were showing clear signs it was going to fall/stabilize in the 10-15k pure sales range sooner than later, especially week 8 (23k). 10k 5 weeks after doing 23k makes sense  still the best selling album in pure sales this week outside new entries.

It is hard to get data of which albums sold most "in a year" because things were different back then and albums used to sell more even after 1 year (like Whitney's album). This is why i said it was #3 album of 1985 (as in 3rd biggest album from 1985 releases) while TTPD is most likely will end up as the biggest album among 2024 releases.
