Indeed. Whitney Houston was #3 album of 1985 while TTPD is the biggest album of the year with a big gap from #2

Whitney also didn't have 50-11 versions of her album on sale. It was an organic success.

Em dropped a new digital version of the album which is available until July 19, so looks like they're trying to get the #1 for sales as well.

Taylor would be #1 on year end without any physical, so even without all the "versions".

That means he could reach the 300k mark

all of those extra digital variants or signed copies of TTPD combined don't even have 300k sales out of its 4.9 M total units to date, and only contribute to 2/3 extra weeks of top spots out of its 12 weeks of #1. In fact, even though you remove all of its pure sales it still will be year-end #1 by a big margin. Stop acting like the success of TTPD is anything inorganic

Currently at around 2.35m streaming units which is 500k more than the runner-up album's total units. Satisfied?

And if she hadn't combined 2 bodies of work in 1, would she still be number 1 ?

Anthology tracks streaming accounts for much less than 400k units so yes, easily :rip:

The #2 album this year was already the #1 album last year as well too actually

Also I dont know why people think Eminem is just some old legacy rapper, when he is literally the 2nd most streamed Rapper ever today. :dies: There is legit no rapper who has more Diamond Physicals records, Dominated the digital era and is still streaming on the level of Drake 25 years later. In fact Death of Slim Shady is gonna be the biggest rap opening week of the year, just from streams alone. I mean that's legendary type stuff. Not just for rap but any genre of music.

TTPD's streaming units alone are enough for it to be #1 album of the year

She would be. 72% of album's streams come from the first half.

And more songs doesn't mean more sales, as we all saw how another album with 27 tracks freefall... :suburban:

How did Hardy go from #4 to #20 (or lower) in just a year? :deadbanana4:

Taylor's success is very organic as well, especially since it has been #1 on streaming for almost 3 months. But you are clearly not trying to have a honest argument you hate on Taylor in all of her threads :coffee2:

Yeah, he's clearly not arguing in good faith, OTHs never do :toofunny3:

They always cherry-pick things out of context to pretend Taylor isn't actually successful, it's pure cope.

Aren't you a Beyonce stan? She just released on album with 27 songs on it but let me guess, somehow it doesn't count when Beyonce do it? :toofunny3:

I just know Taylor is seething that she couldn't get to 13 weeks. She ended up releasing all those variants and blocking all those people just to end up not getting what she or her team wanted :rip:

Also, BRAT being stable at number 13 is INSANE for Charli's standards.

Oh i can guarantee you Taylor and her team are doing just FINE, she could've easily released the physicals for the Anthology if she wanted to and she would've easily blocked Eminem :toofunny3:

I really love this alternative reality you guys created in your heads in which Taylor is somehow not winning. It's truly fascinating to witness :ahh:
