charts discussion Lana's Tough outstreams and outdebuts Katy's WW in 7 hours, surprised?

Why couldn't Katy's highly promoted single with such a renowned hitmaker behind it couldn't outdo Tough? Should Katy have called up Bonnie McKee instead of Dr ****? I'm sure there are some Teenage Dream vault outtakes she could release, considering her fans love to remind everyone of its diamond status, which is very interesting considering Born To Die has higher total streams, I guess diamond status doesn't guarantee a career with longevity, quality or acclaim. Thoughts?
