I see a lot of hypocrites on this website, talking about working with abusers when their fave work with rapists within their teams abd refuse to let go of them Weren't there KatyKlowns cheering for Dr. Luke's comeback the call is coming from INSIDE the house 2

I feel like there's never been so much unity Misogyny towards a woman under the disguise of standing up for another woman You really said it's nice when gay MEN unite to hate a woman non-sarcastically. And this sums up the overall grasp of "virtues" in stanning. 1 1

Holy **** at him legitimately being dumb enough to argue that simply buying a woman's music gives him a unchecked pass as a man to be as disrespectful and insulting as he pleases to the point of being misogynistic towards women 2 1

BrokenMachine Posted July 13 Posted July 13 Sadly this is the only thing keeping her relevant right now. If it weren't for all the people despising and checking on her right now she would have flopped even harder She must release a better song next time or it's gonna be really over 1

"One of the most talented" that's YOUR opinion sweetheart. Western culture love to uphold mediocre white men as the pinnacle of music while constantly undermining the impact of female and black musicians. Sorry I don't feed into that BS and his drug fuelled nonsensical music. He is mediocre, racist and had a VERY problematic past but culture tends to be less harsh towards mediocre white men. Katy Perry IS talented. She might not be the most talented but at her peak she had a quirky style and made pop music at its best. 1 1 4

That guy is one of the worst Taylor hater on this site and it's ALWAYS been obvious it was misogynistic in nature. So many gays on forums like this are so insanely misogynistic but that's ok apparently since they're gay and they stan female artists. Everyone knows you can't be misogynistic if you listen to female pop after all! It's like straight guys saying they can't be misogynistic because they're physically attracted to women So many gays who obsessively stan female artists can be just as misogynistic as some of the worst incels out there, you just need to see how they act toward women they don't like. The very moment they don't "vibe" with a pop girl they will attack and denigrate her in the most vile and hypocritical way possible, Taylor Swift being the #1 victim of these kind of attacks on here. 1
Phaunzie Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) At this point, I could care less about the hate. They run up their blood pressure over Katy, and it won't change a thing. Personally, I would like them to continue, causing eventually they will get bored and switch to someone. One can only bandwagon hate for so long before getting bored. Plus, all this attention for Katy, for one thing they can't say she isn't irrelevant because she is living rent free in their minds. Also, they are giving this girl free promo for some hatestreamig and hatewatching of Cher's Woman World. It is kinda of funny, that her antis are routinely going to MV to share Joyride's chart position. Anyways, XOXO Phaunzie. :3 Edited July 13 by Phaunzie Because I can 1
Paragon Posted July 13 Posted July 13 It is easy to hate her, quote Doja and see what happens, she would bully you but Katy can never
Jay07 Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I actually think the hate on her is starting to go a little overboard but trash talking David Bowie to defend Katy Perry has to be peak ATRL. Calling him a mediocre white man? David Bowie? 4
WastedPigeon Posted July 13 Posted July 13 I do believe Katy is the go-to person for people who have a compulsive need to ridicule somebody. You may not like or respect her artistry, you may not approve of her business choices, you may not even like her as a person. However, what I'm getting from all the recent Katy hate is that she's been made into this scapegoat, a free-for-all readily available for people to take a piss out of. I get people not liking Woman's World -- it's most definitely not the best song in her catalogue, but some people have made it their own twisted hobby to hate on Katy nonstop. She's joined the ranks of Xtina and JLo as an artist who can't catch a break, imo. 5
The7thStranger Posted July 13 Posted July 13 There have been times in Katy's career when has been ridiculed mercilessly and unfairly. This is not one of them. 1
worldwide angel Posted July 13 Posted July 13 so katy works with dr. luke instead of idk having basic human decency, katy stans attack anyone (including kesha and abigail breslin) for being disgusted by her working with dr. luke katy gets hate as a result her association with dr. luke and her stans being r*pe apologists and that's our fault? 1

Katy Perry IS talented. She might not be the most talented but at her peak she had a quirky style and made pop music at its best. Out of all white male musicians to call mediocre (there was really several to make this point with lmfao) you are way off mark using that word for David Bowie and yes he had a problematic history to say the least, he is also dead now & is an artist that peaked commercially in 1983. He's never going to get dragged like this cause he's dead. The way you doing this over a mediocre white woman makes it funnier. David Bowie made significant contributions to pop music and his impact is very visible. Part of the reason Pop acts have 'eras' from a sonic, visual and aesthetic standpoint. Being quirky isn't a talent and she made mediocre pop music. 1
Ramcoro Posted July 14 Posted July 14 So true. Katy isn't going to see these posts. Kesha isn't either. And not Dr. Luke. But creating thread after thread, changing the banners and storming every post is only attacking Katy Cats for enjoying a song and excited for their favorite artist to come back and start a new era. An artist we have been following since we were kids. God damn. Give it a rest. 2 2
truthteller Posted July 14 Posted July 14 She made missteps after missteps. It's not hate, just factual description and constructive criticism 2

Ethereaaal Posted July 14 Posted July 14 (edited) Why do we have to repeat the circumstances and context of everything a hundred times on why Katy is getting flack for her actions and so called 'art'? What's there to defend besides a few pop gems from more than a decade ago? While we will all just move on, the lashings were deserved. Y'all should just hope she has the maturity to address the issue at hand. She's a grown ass woman and an industry veteran, and she should not be coddled like some child. If this does not teach her lesson, then she truly deserved to be over forever. Also, if you enjoy her creating peak cringe and corny content, then good for you. Go listen to her ****.
