sway Posted July 12 Posted July 12 (edited) Lorde has been seen hanging out a lot with Blood Orange and Jim-E Stack, the latter of which opened up some of her shows for the Solar Power Tour. This snippet, although short, sounds similar to the two unreleased tracks "Invisible Ink" and "Silver Moon" that she premiered at her festival shows last year. It appears this is the sound she has been leaning towards to post-Solar Power. Seems to pair well with her statement about returning back to writing more dance pop-driven melodies. What do we think? Omg I'm only just now hearing these and I'm so excited for this album. Silver Moon sounds like a Nelly Furtado beat but more emotive and ethereal. It's the perfect combo of her first two albums. I'm gonna stan so hard 1
no_better Posted July 12 Posted July 12 I do hope she keeps Silver Moon and Invisible Ink in the vault, they're cute but sound very demo-ish and the lyrics are not the best. They will probably get the Precious Metal treatment Having said that, I do hope that L4 is an impending collapse in the making... 1 1
Minto Posted July 12 Posted July 12 (edited) she can keep silver moon for target bonus tracks, we need everything fresh and unheard ma'am judging by the sound of this it has to be a summer/early fall release there's no other answer Edited July 12 by Minto 1

Letemtalk Posted July 12 Posted July 12 Does anyone recognise the mixing console? It doesn't look like Studio 13 West London, where she was working last year. Doesn't look like any of the studios at Electric Lady either, but she is probably in the UK. I'm not sure what Jai Paul's studio looks like. The snippet might be from "Invisible Ink". It looks like she is working with Fabiana Palladino. Fabi worked with Jai Paul on her album, an album Lorde praised when it came out. Fabiana Palladino is a session musician and was one of the touring musicians on the Solar Power tour. 1
Taylor fanboy Posted July 13 Posted July 13 When the title stars with "Wo" and it's Roooooyals once again then what? 2
