good_enough888 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 I am in love with this album. I don't think there's any skips. Crown has been my obsession lately. Fantasy and Better Than Ever are on repeat. Showstopper has so many Loose vibes to me I love it. All Comes Back just hit me hard today along with Better For Worse. Honesty and Ready For Myself are such great hype pop songs. I love the album ending on a sad note with Untitled. I'm also loving the shirt lengths too. It makes each song pack an immediate punch. I hope she gets a good single or singles out of this era. 3
RajibDavid Posted October 1 Posted October 1 What a wonderful album, way better than recent mainstream pop albums, yet it doesn't chart. Ageism and fatphobia suck.

FranzJoseph Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Damn didn't chart in Canada. This album is actually doing worse than The Ride sales wise....hopefully it doesn't discourage her from keep releasing music. The rollout was a bit of a disaster so it's not like it was unwarranted but still...she has an album doing over 2 million streams per day and she can't even chart a brand new album in more that 5 countries lol

It's always sad to see but well it's nothing new.. Edited October 1 by BlueBlue
Afterglow Posted October 1 Posted October 1 This is criminally ignored. What is happening to music taste? 2

I can't believe she fell off THIS hard.

I can't believe she fell off THIS hard. It's wild to me because the Loose singles are still so popular today - you play them anywhere and people know Maneater, Promiscuous and Say It Right. Her reception at festivals has been amazing the past 2 years - she always draws an enthusiastic crowd and yet no one gives 2 shits about any of her released stuff? Why I highlight Canada as being an anomaly to not chart is that she's still a big name up here and Corazon got a ton of radio play, she did a decent amount of promo in Canada and she has a lot of connections with industry people up here. I did look for it in 2 stores that carry CD's and neither had it so I'm guessing they also shipped no physical copies to stores which coupled with it's awful streaming numbers kind of makes sense. Still super dissapointing.
djcalpal Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I don't understand the lack of support for this from the general public - she did a ton of promo too. It's a really strong album, and Honesty is super radio friendly. Was it even serviced to radio in Canada / US / UK? Utterly confused by the marketing strategy (or lack thereof) here.

Infatuation_Junkie Posted October 2 Posted October 2 On first listen, I think the spirit indestructible and the ride are better albums. 1

The only thing I don't agree is about the length of the songs...Somehow her essence is shown even more on bridges and ad-libs and stuff that are missing. But it doesn't ruin the album for me.
goldstargay Posted October 2 Posted October 2 Not even CANADIANS paying this dust, I thought ya'll were nice.

Promiscuous and Maneater both doing over 3x the streams of 7 daily is so messed up haha Edited October 3 by FranzJoseph

I was shocked to see 143 at 42. Top 20 would have been a failure but 42? And it's not like we are an irrelevant music market, we're top 10 globally.
PopKills Posted October 3 Posted October 3 #35 in Germany?? Not my country stanning! (like they always do with Queen Nelly) 1

If only had she released it as the first single off TSI in 2012, she would have been on another level today 1
UnusualBoy Posted October 3 Posted October 3 It sucks that this came and went but honestly they took too long to release it and then the lead sounds nothing like the rest of the album but well, it is what it is. 1
MatiRod Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Really enjoying this. The songs are short, yes, but straight to the point and don't overstay their welcome. I love how it draws from Nelly's different sounds of the past and the high number of collabs keeps it fresh. Just good pop music and a welcome return by an artist that's always had a very unique point of view and sound in the mainstream. 1
