guys we ******* made it.

 

i remember us annoying the monarch @sam.teas and asking constantly about the updates, checking her twitter, instagram and her website (wtf) non-stop, setting ourselves up day for day by starting some random countdowns, thinking shes gonna announce something at 1:43 (am, pm, time zone, didn't matter) cause we were actually crazy, getting the leaks which were heavily promoted by katys second most loyal fanbase ever, yeah im talking about you guys, little monsters, all over the internet, then seeing the first videos from the listening party in us ("you are not reaTy for the bopZ"), her serving the best visuals in years, for any MPG, and now getting finally the album pre-order links and the lead single. 

 

what a time to be alive. what a rollercoaster, so many ups and downs not only the last couple of weeks but all the years since 2017. im so happy that I stuck to her and am now able to re-live the time where I actually started to stan her back then in 2013. 

 

thank you all, her fans and haters, for the last weeks, it was so fun to enjoy the start of this era. 

 

she really got her smile back now. and I got mine as well.

I know I am in the minority but for me Gimme Gimme is honestly AWFUL. 21 Savage sounds bored, she sounds bored, the beat resembles a basic ringtone, the lyrics are Kim Petras-esque. Dark Horse, Dance With The Devil and Not The End Of The World were amazing, why would she give them such a messy follow-up.

Honestly I would've rathered her having named the album I Love You instead of 143 but oh well at least the cover is beautiful!
