I need Wonder as a single, it screams Katy Perry and I can see it trending on TT too. I really wish the deluxe tracks were better and more in line with the album. I start at Crush so the album is criminally short and a few extra bops would have been great. I started doing this and it's become one of my fave albums of 2024. So much serotonin. 2
halcyonday Posted October 1 Posted October 1 is she gonna record a vid for Gorgeous there and announce the European leg of the tour?
Breathe On Moi Posted October 1 Posted October 1 I'm so happy for her lol it's weird that I don't think I was this into Katy as much as I am with this era. album hasn't aged for me one bit and it really doesn't hurt that she looks ******* gorgeous.mp3 anytime she steps the **** out 7

thismoment Posted October 1 Posted October 1 (edited) Now that it's been a couple of days and I can be more objective, I gotta say that 143 is a solid album. I really enjoy it overall more than Smile and Witness (although they have higher highs). It has its flaws obviously, they should've put more effort cause some songs sound a bit unfinished, if that makes any sense. Anyway, like I said, personally I think 143 is good, just not comeback material album, like it was promoted. The reviews are obviously biased and were probably written months ago. I also believe the reception would've been better if she released it all together without any singles prior. I hope she doesn't let the hate get into her like with Witness, I'm glad she's going ahead with what she had planned and is not canceling the tour like some katycats suggested. This is a better experience than Witness and Smile as a project. I love some highs from them more like Bon Appetit, CTTR, or NRO, but overall, 143 is an album I can play on replay all the time, and with others I would have to skip Resilient, What Makes A Woman, Bigger Than Me, Act My Age, or songs that require a specific mood like Mind Maze or Into Me You See. I just hope she keeps making music and releases it more often than every 3-4 years... lbffr. Katy reclaimed the throne on my personal charts nnnn 1 1

Witness is just filled with skips, and Resilient and WMAW on Smile. You are correct. 1 1
