Digitalism Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Lorde is the best example since both Joel Little and JA have done their best work with her Any other examples? 1 1
selena_lavigne Posted July 10 Posted July 10 (edited) As someone said the other day, Selena makes her producers put their whole bussy into her songs. I also have this theory that she is a complete mastermind and EDM legend and everybody drags her talent cuz she likes it. OH MY GOD Stars Dance is literally the best album of all time. Jay07 Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Madonna and William Orbit. Madonna and Mirwais. Madonna and Stuart Price. Lady Gaga and RedOne. 2
Virgos Groove Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Timbaland had plenty of highlights after, but things were never quite the same after Aaliyah died. She was his muse. 3 2
EdgeofTeeth Posted July 10 Posted July 10 At this point, Jack Antonoff is only anything special when he works with Lana. A&W is a masterpiece (just like the rest of Ocean Blvd ) and the only fresh work he's done in a minute. 1

Kayseri Mantisi Posted July 10 Posted July 10 definitely 100% Lorde. she did it with Joel Little & Pure Herine she did it with Jack Antonoff & Melodrama and even Solar Power (i'm saying even because ATRL haters thought it was bad), was really unique for Jack Antonoff's discography and current sound. (Mood Ring, Oceanic Feeling, The Man With The Axe, The Path, California etc.)
thatsmydemi Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Demi Lovato and Oak Felder. He's worked with him on every album since 2017. Many fans are tired of him because we they want to see her working with different producers but the truth is that he's such a versatile producer and most of his work with Demi is incredible (let's forget about certain choices on Revamped). He used to be a R&B-pop producer but with Demi he's delivered incredible stuff even when she's stepped out of R&B. The same guy who gave us Sorry Not Sorry or Daddy Issues then produced the entire Holy **** album . I haven't seen him deliver such good material with any other artist tbh. 1
Ewan Chaos Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Carly Rae Jepsen for sure. The fact that most of her albums have such a varied list of producers and each record still sounds so cohesive. And producers that may have misses in their collection (Jack Antonoff) always strike gold with her 2 1

And it's really funny to see labels/A&Rs of other girls think of him as the mastermind to their sound, causing them to request him to executive-produce whole albums to lukewarm success: Mariah Carey Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel (2009) Brandy's Shelved Epic Records Album (2009) JLo's Shelved Epic Records Album (2010) Ciara Basic Instinct (2010) JLo's LOVE? (2011) Nicole Scherzinger Big Fat Lie (2014)
BGKC Posted July 10 Posted July 10 Darkchild was deep in his bag when it came to R&B groups and duos. Destiny's Child, Brandy & Monica >>

'More Than a Woman' is one of the best instrumentals of all time, that song is insane. He created magic there.
