umich Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Y'all said this in 2016 during the Calvin/Kim/Kanye drama. So I'll have to say no.
Trent W Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Definitely not any time soon All she needs is to take a long break If she continues to release another new album next year, the hate will definitely be a lot more intense.

The fact that she's probably going to do the Super Bowl, announce a new album, and some new iteration of a tour next year. Her foot is remaining on the gas for the rest of the 2020s I fear. She's a workaholic.
Badgalbriel Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Yes. OTH are very serious about this topic. They re been talking about it for 10 years already. 2
GoatGly Posted July 7 Posted July 7 I was looking for tickets to see her in Indianapolis before the Eras Tour ends and bad seats were reselling for thousands of dollars so YES end that fad, climate terrorist, etc., etc. 1
Cruel Summer Posted July 7 Posted July 7 The most imminent, in fact. Actually, I heard that it technically already happened. It's just that her downfall was so hard and so intense when everyone in the world saw her [please select one: mistreat someone on live TV / intentionally block only women / use her private jet again / act like a millennial / release variant editions of her album to violently prey upon young impressionable fans' wallets / other] that she looped back around into being the biggest artist on Earth again. Integer overflow or something I guess! 4

Her next album will be huge if she releases in 2027 and save the superbowl to her late 40s when she really would need a boost. I know that if she releases an album in 2025 it will still be big but it's a guaranteed decline that soon.

She went from having 5 albums in the top 10 to 1 in the top 20. She's doing 75M daily streams including a new 30+ track release when she did that for only her catalogue before this release. This and the viral hate she keeps getting are obvious signs of an imminent downfall. She might come back stronger again as she tends to do, but I wouldn't bet on it this time, just because she has already had such a massive almost unprecedent peak. Taylena Posted July 7 Posted July 7 Taylor Swift's downfall? It's a myth at this point. She's too smart, too talented, and too beloved to fade away. The question isn't when she'll fall, but how much higher she'll rise. Stay mad haters, the rest of us will be busy enjoying the Taylor Swift era forever. 1
LoveInStereo Posted July 7 Posted July 7 We all know that moment's never coming. Something non-fans need to understand: her core audience is loyal as ****. I've met quite a few Swifties IRL who travel to see Eras that hate TTPD. That doesn't change how they feel about her on the whole. She's been the soundtrack to their lives. To experience a downfall, there has to be more negative engagement than positive. She'd have to alienate them all at once in a very severe, extreme way & I don't see that ever happening 2 1 1
Sabrina Carpenter Posted July 7 Posted July 7 girl they've been praying for it since 2014 maybe they can wait another decade 1
wsurferwayne Posted July 7 Posted July 7 (edited) wait until 2089 by the time she released 89 albums Edited July 7 by wsurferwayne

genio Posted July 7 Posted July 7 No and even if it is, she already achieved everything and more so no one would care at this point.
longjohn9898 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 There is no "downfall" to be expected because she's not falling from anything. Her accomplishments are streaming and touring on repetitive, mediocre music. That's been her musical baseline her entire career, so you can't decline from that bar when it's already on the floor
