Paris & London are undoubtedly the two most iconic cities in Europe.

But which city comes third and completes the trinity of the most iconic European cities?

Potential contenders include Rome, Istanbul, Berlin, Moscow, Barcelona, Brussels, Amsterdam…

Im in Rome rn for vacation but I'm from Berlin. Berlin will always be the best  city of all time to me just because I grew up there and other great factors however Rome is just so full of (tourists) great history and architecture and food so I will have to say Rome

Rome in terms of significance and being iconic but all three are kinda overrated especially Paris.

People saying Milan :ahh:

Rome doesn't have that sprawling metropolitan feel

I'd say Berlin

Paris and London both so overrated btw. Like London is one of the ugliest places I've ever visited :chick3: Only the city centre was nice and even that wasn't that great

Probably Rome or Milan.  Maybe Vienna if you ignore how boring it can be.

We're not counting ugly cities, and Berlin is uglier than the worst suburb of Milan, which is all around a much more stylish and beautiful city.  Also Rome is huge and does in fact have a sprawling metropolitan feel, it's 50% larger than culturally irrelevant Berlin.

I'd put Rome in the same category as Istanbul, they're on a league of their own when it comes to beauty and history!
