That's not how it works. Billie gets 40m streams daily and Taylor almost 80m, so a huge % are just people browsing through a playlist and not checking another song.

That's not what it says at all and if you think that then you do not understand the metric. 
 

This position has always been irrelevant, even when Taylor is #1 it's not something worth fawning over. Nothing lost nothing gained here, Taylor is still, as she has consistently been, the most streamed artist of the day, month, and year

Wait, I don't think that's how it works either. Taylor has 4x the discography as Billie but has around double the streams.

Do you want a cookie for Billie achieving a meaningless #2 position that has been held by many other artists, Taylor included..?   like I genuinely don't get what is worth pointing out here, as if being #3 in a meaningless metric after months of being #1 and #2 in that same meaningless metric is supposed to suddenly be meaningful.

Catalog size doesn't make much of a difference. The gap is 35m, meaning Billie would need 12 other albums doing the same numbers as Happier than Ever which is not realistic
