Oh please. Gaga at her peak was still sharing the spotlight with Beyonce. IASF was still a massive album globally from 2008-2010 even if TF/FM was bigger and 4 did fairly well in 2011 and proved to stand the test of time and Beyonce reigned ahead of Gaga in 2013 when she dropped ST and maintained her lead over her. 

 

Beyonce started off making quality music with Destiny's Child since the 90's, dropped a bunch of commercially successful albums solo in the 2000's, and cemented herself as a legend and strong artist with her albums from the 2010's and 2020's, her touring success, her Beychella performance, The Gift soundtrack, etc. 

 

And the crazy thing is Gaga is already lowkey treated as more of a "legacy act" than Beyonce despite being younger than her and having a shorter music career. I see casuals talking about Beyonce like she's still one of the biggest pop stars today whereas I mainly see people refer to Gaga in the form of nostalgia for her older music and peak. 

 

Plus, Beyonce's experimentation with genres resulted in more quality and stronger albums than Gaga. I'll give Gaga credit for the Tony Bennett collabs though. That's one thing(jazz singing) I'll give her props for over Beyonce even though I wouldn't rule out Beyonce singing jazz in the future.

It's of course Beyoncé, she actually progressed very far and probably reached the top of what she can do creatively, or is close to it. GaGa in the other hand has a path full of hit or misses which leave us wondering if she could surprise and do some really good stuff, musically. I mean, she's talented as heck, she obviously is capable of doing great things, but only time will tell.
