I became a Christian several years ago. What led me to Christianity was through divine revelation by the Holy Spirit. God moved in obvious ways in my life and answered majority of my prayers. He still does even to this day every week. Many Christians that I know share the same experience. Joshua's testimony is very similar to mine. I didn't encounter God by reading any religious books or talking to other Christians. I used to be totally against Christianity. I didn't practice any sort of spirituality. Everything changed when God pursued me. I discovered an unexplainable joy and peace when I found Jesus. That is what he promises to give us and so it's not surprising to hear similar stories from millions of others.
