I hate to say it when Chester's passed, I don't mean to be disrespectful.. but the truth is they've always been tacky as ****. Anybody who is serious about rock as a genre thinks they're corny & closer to pop. The emo revival is doing too much. Most of those bands were dogshit. There's nothing wrong with liking crappy pop punk, most of us did, but why are we revisiting it acting like the nostalgia (which is a beautiful, personal thing) actually makes it technically excellent music?
