Erm Reverie and Black Water are both amazing ntm.

OP you got In Case We Die and Reverie the wrong way round.

OT: Love both but I enjoy every Tinashe album whereas there's maybe only three Bey albums that I regularly come back to

I love Beyonce but it's Tinashe across the board.

I like both but Beyoncé. Her discography has and will continue to inspire many younger artists, Tinashe included. Lucky for Tinny, Beyoncé is also a fan.

I prefer Tinashe but I'll be the first to admit that I don't think Tinashe can pull of a Renaissance or even come close to it

Nobody that has debuted after Beyonce has a better body of work than hers.

This forum can stay pretending otherwise though.

Tinashe is better than Beyonce in every possible front. Starting with the fact that she writes her music and produces it.

5/5... I kinda give the edge to Tinashe though. Not a single bad project there

Why? She doesn't have the budget to snatch Writing credit for adding commas to a grocery list or the husband to purchase a streaming platform to report fake numbers for his superstar wife and be investigated by the FBI because of it.

Beyoncé for daytime listening, Tinashe for nighttime listening. This one made me think harder than I thought it would, honestly. Tinashe's albums are just so sublime and elegant. :jonny5:

I omitted Amethyst and BBANGEL since they're both amazing but so short. Plus I don't listen to Bey's "side" albums (The Gift and Everything is Love) so I can't compare those fairly.

Tinashe is probably my favorite artist in the whole world, and one of few people who can remotely compare to Bey in terms of reinvention and commitment to her craft. Still she doesn't quite have the range. T is great and very new school. Like she excels in her lane of moody, electronic, introspective, sensual and occasionally pop with mixed results. While it's not super common Bey has also dabbled in that like in her self-titled.

But Tinashe could never sing songs like Deja Vú, Countdown, or Don't Hurt Yourself. Besides Bey having unreal vocals she also has that commanding old school energy, plus being truly southern she has those country and funk influences. T is a decade+ younger in literal age and career so maybe her discography will get even stronger in time. Long post but I do have to bow down to Bey here.
