ScorpiosGroove Posted July 2 Posted July 2 grouping beyoncé with a loser like katy y'all don't even try to troll 3 2
Peak Now Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Winners: Sabrina (multiple bonafide hits, probably a BNA lined up) Chappell (an undeniable "big break" moment) Kendrick (managing to end Drake even commercially is no small feat...) HM: Ariana, Billie, Charli, Megan, Tinashe Losers: Lil Nas X (gimmicks shipped back) J. Cole (deleting your mid diss track in 48 hours... oh it was bad) Justin Timberlake (even the GP is panning him) HM: Camila, Drake, Jennifer Lopez, Katy (I'd wait for the song to drop before moving her up tbf), Nicki 1
Doogle Posted July 2 Posted July 2 (edited) Beyoncé is neither a winner nor a loser. She had a global #1 hit and then her album bombed because she pretended it didn't exist and fumbled the vinyls. She's firmly in the middle. A loser would be someone running back to a rapist for a hit. Edited July 2 by Doogle 5
SinnerCity Posted July 2 Posted July 2 People saying Dua lost when she just headlined the biggest festival in the UK and has a sold out tour. RO might not be FN but it's not a massive flop like Camila's album for instance. 3 2
Erreur2 La Nature Posted July 2 Posted July 2 If someone is losing in 2024 it's certainly Justin Timberlake
Feanor Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Winners Ariana Grande Billie Eilish Chappell Roan Charli XCX Kendrick Lamar Megan Thee Stallion Sabrina Carpenter Taylor Swift Losers Camila Cabello Drake Dua Lipa Ice Spice Jennifer Lopez Justin Timberlake Normani

Raphy23 Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Winners: Sabrina, Chappell, Tate, Charli, Billie losers: Dua (for now but she's be back)
Aston Martin Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Don't forget to put the American populace in the loser list because we're so ****** also I would say Disney could go in the winner list since IO2 + DP3 look like a vast improvement success-wise from that dismal 2023 run. Chappell Roan belongs in the winner list too. 1 2

RO might not be FN but it's not a massive flop like Camila's album for instance. Speak on it! All three singles debuted in the UK top 10, with "Houdini" being a legit hit across the globe even if moderate. The album dethroned TTPD in the UK for a week (predicted to return again thanks to Glastonbury) and also got the #1 in countries like France. Her public image is fine too. The worst criticism she's getting is the tired 'all her songs sound the same' drivel, which is much better than Camila being ridiculed for ripping off Charli XCX, Katy Perry being criticized for recruiting Dr. Luke for a seemingly mediocre song about female empowerment, or the clownery J. Cole, Drake, and Ice Spice have gotten for their recent releases + features. Even Taylor Swift got more proper mockery online for the lyrics on "THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT". Not a certified winner, but far from a loser either. I'd say most have been reacting with indifference to Dua this year, but her tour is sold out and she killed it at Glastonbury, so she's clearly doing well enough.
Brikenbur Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Beyoncé with a #1 album and single and commotion she caused with her going country MOST DEFINITELY qualifies her as a loser in 2024
