I agree. Her outfits look unflattering. Not sure what's going on but her vocals have changed a lot. She doesn't sing the same way — very different techniques. New vocal trainer maybe? She's sounding a lot more like Alanis Morisette than herself.

Just watched the full show and it was amazing.
The energy, the crowd, her vocals, everything was so perfect.

Shes smart. The crowd always has a great time. I was at a Paramore concert recently and they did a lot of random album songs and fan service. It went down like a lead balloon and casual concert goers gathered at the back of the venue at the bar. 

But lots of acts do that at each concert while on tour. They're on tour to promote a new album, so of course they'll perform songs from that album.

 

Tbh I don't mind when artists perform deep cuts and fan favorites. It makes the concert more fun and unpredictable. I'm pretty sure any casual LBS would recognize RNR or Keep Holding On should Avril ever start playing it.

Janelle Monae Pyramid was really empty same time as Avril Lavigne  

 

 

 

But of course when will festivals will learn??? they always love to put this indie kind of Edgy artist at the big stages when we all know they dont have a big fan base, nothing against Janelle but people really did not show up..... 1 Hour before Janelle Pyramid stage looked full with Shania performance..... How did Shania get a 3pm stage set.... the disrespect

 

 

 

Anyway... Sk8er Boi perfomance surpass 1 million views   at Youtube  from the 2024  Youtube uploaded performances only Coldplay & Dua Lipa had surpass 1 million views    Avril truly won at Glastonbury

Avril started her career earlier but she's literally same age as Katy & Lana - I just love to see her winning because she's such a fighter and always stays true to herself.
