Her and Elton have been kindred spirits and have the shared trauma of being Madonna victims and you can really feel her connection to the song and her respect for Elton in a way that doesn't feel put on all. These other ones were excellent performances but all of them were just her putting on a different character and aren't a loving tribute from a friend.
