Mke1979 Posted July 21 Posted July 21 With an amazing music video hopefully in the works, this could end up being song of the summer! 1
Funnyfatty Posted July 21 Posted July 21 The song is doing perfectly fine and i LOVE IT. Demi posted on instagram with the song. I wish Gaga did that too instead of a sweet comment. Or at least use it with Haus labs for a promo video or something. Anyways, i see that the other fanbase i now bullying Kesha for singing her own song Blow. First i was irritated but now i see that that is giving it a chance to go viral This truly can be Keshas year with her old hits going viral and Joyride being a hit. Last year she had Backstabber and Cannibal which very mega viral this year we need something new. Only Love Can Save Us Now seems to do something on twitter. 8
ChooseyLover Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I feel like the world will realize how amazing her discography is just like I did a year ago when Gag Order was released and I looked back in awe of how magnificent of a pop star she has always been. There's nobody more deserving than her. Stream JOYRIDE, b!tches 10 3

I'm glad they're suffering at least with the PR catastrophe that is that other "feminist" song. Criticizing a victim for using music she helped to create because her abuser is on the credits is such a low blow 2

Enrique523 Posted July 21 Posted July 21 Katy stans have really sunk so low in this whole debacle, imagine attacking a r*pe victim just because you want your own fave to be free of consequences Joyride keeps rising though, it's good. We need to keep streaming and spread the word, there's still so much potential for growth here. 10
EnterTheAttic Posted July 21 Posted July 21 I am SOOO here for a Kesha renaissance (or however that's spelled)!! A mega hit from Kesha in 2024 would be amazing!! 9

youmustbeupgraded Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) where can I donate to kesha records kind of a flex this is doing well and if it continues to do well with minimal budget/promo. organic queen hoping she can make some good $ off this track, she deserves it <3 Edited July 21 by youmustbeupgraded 5
FireFade Posted July 21 Posted July 21 the laugh during the bridge in the radio edit is a nice touch, should've been added to the final/explicit version 6

Theoretically they could (I think), but I have never heard of any example for that. Usually, the flagship artists of major labels get radio deals and I'm personally not aware of radio payola for independent artists being a thing (would love to be wrong, of course). 2

Luckitty Posted July 21 Posted July 21 4 hours ago, youmustbeupgraded said: Can they payola lol there is actually a very common occurrence of completely unknown artists charting in the #50-#40 region on pop radio and their songs mostly get played very late at night or very early in the morning (when no one is listening to the radio) lol, chart watchers call them "indie nightcrawlers" idk how this all works but I assume it's impossible to payola your way into the top 20-10 without the help of a big label's money & connections, i'm pretty sure labels have employees whose only job is working with radio stations 4
