However, if this can continue to build traction on social media and at least be a moderate streaming hit (since I don't have much faith radio will pick this up but I pray they do) I'd call that a major win. As a diehard fan, I know she has nothing left to prove and I'm more than content supporting her as an independent artist finally making the music she wants to without any red tape. BUT! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't secretly holding out hope that people wake up and realize just how versatile, amazing, and creative she is. For some reason the music she has released in the past 4 years hasn't really connected with me. I'm glad she's having fun again though and it's great that the song seems to be doing well!
