305 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I was left unsatisfied. Oh well at least there's a music video and the era isn't dead the way she didn't lipsync a SINGLE word 1 3
Topaz Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Hmm idk how to feel about the video, but I dont hate it. 1
Vixen Eyes Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago help, i saw this thumbnail right next to joyride and thought we also got a BTS video with it 1
collin Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Okay y'all I'm gonna take a whack at dissecting this video a bit. Clearly the plot of this is a metaphor for her experience in the music industry. Her being freed from a "9-year prison sentence" and running from people who are doing the best to make sure she fails lets us know she is prepared for the uphill battle ahead. The idea of a 'joy ride' takes on a whole new meaning through this video. The spirit of the video feels like an in between of where she was and where she's going. She's showing us what she is capable of. I'm fully interpreting this video as a reintroduction to Kesha as we know her. It's building block #1. I think this is meant to be the first piece of many to come, maybe a trilogy of videos? I've gotten the impression from the first week she dropped this song that Joyride was always meant for her to test the waters, gauge public interest and see how people react to her new vibe, and tweak accordingly. This video is no different. She will be paying attention to our reactions, seeing how this visual performs for her and go from there with it. Lastly. What do yall think AML on the license plate stands for? I fear that may be the album title. 2 3
sam.teas Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago it's a cute video. i don't like the fact that she doesn't mimic verses… 1
TheBoss Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago LOVED the first 30 seconds so there's that! I like the concept, it just wasn't well executed imho, giving the fact that the "Delusional" cover art also has that on the road imagery and due to the character of the same name it makes me think that maybe this wasn't really planned originally as a video for Joyride or that maybe it was shot at the same time as the Delusional video (if we get any) hence why she's not lipsyncing at all and the obvious cliff-hanger 4

Like there was never going to be a video for this but once she started video treatment for other song(s) she had this idea? 1
SmittenCake Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I ******* LOVED the video. 10/10 just had to buy the song + $7 EP on Amazon Music right now bc im THAT gagged 2 1
Simple Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago idk what was that and what was happening. Lots of cars, lots of shooting and 0 explosions. Did the budget run out mid filming? And the video just seems like a bunch of random clips edited together with the song added as an afterthought 1

Yeah I guess she wanted Joyride to have a visual but it took them so long to come up with an idea that maybe she planned to take some of the extra footage of the second single music video and create this video, like the first chapter of the visual experience i guess "Derek Delusional" seems extra intentional lol they were definitely shot back to back (I hope) Edited 6 hours ago by TheBoss 3

One thing is for sure, this video is ushering in the era and introducing it. I do think certain things don't make sense yet and will later— so let's keep that in mind! 3
CherryBay Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Was that a car commercial or something Wasn't she allowed in that particular state to sing in her music video intense and boring unfortunately wasted opportunity she could dance sing and be sexier Joyride is still that Biatch but hey this music video could have been much better
gettsleazy Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago This was a teaser video for the actual video dropping in 2026 1

Antimuggle Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Just watched the music video and why is she not mouthing the words. It would be so much better if she did that…and maybe some choreography during the last chorus. 1

That would be awesome
