gettsleazy Posted November 5 Posted November 5 It's losing bullet with a lot of these updates lately. Isn't that the indicator of whether or not other stations will pick it up/spin it? 1

Isn't that the indicator of whether or not other stations will pick it up/spin it? I don't necessarily think so because I look at Joyride's most supportive stations every day and those have been the exact same stations for weeks with minimal changes even during weeks where we've had huge positive bullets. Every time I thought: "It's gaining a lot of spins, surely that must mean more stations will jump on board!", the same stations remained the biggest supporters. This is why I believe the fact that this is an independent release without radio push is more responsible for most of the heavy-hitting stations not having jumped on board yet than whether the bullet is positive or negative (since the stations playing Joyride the most seem to be very loyal and unbothered by the bullet trend). 4

bearman Posted November 8 Posted November 8 (edited) I wonder why Joyride was moved from the Dance Pop category at the Grammys (if that's true) because the nominated songs are much more 'pop'. Edited November 8 by bearman 1
