SmittenCake Posted October 12 Posted October 12 If she's still editing Joyride video then my fellow Ca$hiers owe me an apology for GASLITING ME I also take apologies in the form of PayPal/Cashapp 4
SmittenCake Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Tbh I'm not even a Kesha fan. I can't name one song. I did this all to impress TomTom. And now, since he doesn't want to elevate our friendship to the next level, I'm exposing him. I'm finally free from these shackles. I'm giving all my attention to this Mexican Boi from the Jessie J fandom instead. Bye bye Animals. 4

Generation Braindead Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Where's the video, album announcement. Follow up single? Is this all she had in her bag and was hoping for it to blow up so she can afford to drop an album. 2

Quote The partnership sees ADA cover global distribution for the star's future releases including her upcoming album due out in 2025, as well as the project's current single, "Joyride," https://www.wmg.com/news/grammy-nominated-superstar-kesha-goes-independent-launches-kesha-records-via-global-distribution-partnership-with-ada 1

I don't see it dropping anytime soon. Loved the single, wish it had a kick ass video to go along with it. Sad she's broke now after the whole dr.luke trial. 2 1

The song has been out for over 3 months now. If any other pop girl dropped a single 1 year before the album came you would all be freaking. 1

We're not mad because JOYRIDE is (still) doing numbers that she hasn't been doing for years. Edited October 12 by keshasfillers 4

If any other pop girl dropped a single 1 year before the album came you would all be freaking. Ok, let me clarify some things: First, Kesha is a multi-millionaire who is living well off a catalogue of hits, successful tours and other business ventures. Her house alone costs more than you or anyone else here could afford during their lifetimes. Kesha is not "broke", full stop. Second, Kesha is (finally) an independent artist who can do whatever she wants. She does not owe you or anyone else a music video. Music videos have never been less important anyways. She's her own master now and can thus set her own priorities with respect to what she does and doesn't want to do, whether you like it or not. Third, Kesha has not "dropped a single one year before the album came out". Nobody knows when exactly this album will be released and Joyride is more accurately considered a droplet. The success was clearly unexpected which is why there is no campaign for a bigger project yet. It's probably going to end up on the album simply because of how well it did, but it's not a lead single. There is nothing wrong with that. You seem to have quite rigid expectations of what a "pop girl" should do and when that would be better suited for artists firmly embedded in the very system Kesha spent many years trying to get out of. 3 6
