Dad Posted June 27 Posted June 27 It is a question that needed to be asked. Why can't the girls serve us a masterpiece like this?
penguintim Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Emotion (stylized as E•MO•TION) is the third studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen. It was released on June 24, 2015 in Japan and worldwide on August 21, 2015 through 604, School Boy, and Interscope Records. Looking to transition from the bubblegum pop-oriented nature of her second studio album, Kiss (2012), Jepsen found inspiration in 1980s music and alternative styles. She enlisted a team of mainstream and indie collaborators, including Sia, Mattman & Robin, Dev Hynes, Ariel Rechtshaid, Rostam Batmanglij, Greg Kurstin, and Peter Svensson of the Cardigans, culminating in a largely synth-pop-centric effort. 4
DammnBaby Posted June 27 Posted June 27 There are many, many pop girl albums better than COADF. Or do you mean by a current pop girl? 2 1

Virgos Groove Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Renaissance >>> Even Madonna has a couple of albums better than COADF. 2 3
futuresuperstar2023 Posted June 27 Posted June 27 COADF is not Madonnna best album. She has better than that. There are plenty of pop girls who delivered a better album than COADF. 3
nostalgic Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Not everyone can deliver a masterpiece like I Love New York, though many continue to try. 1 1
Saint James Posted June 27 Posted June 27 COADF is great but not peak Madonna so. there are several albums with stronger highs. Beyonce has been matching Madonna in quality for a while now. 4 2
Alexz Posted June 27 Posted June 27 I think because Madonna thought in her mind that this was her last shot.
pisuke Posted June 27 Posted June 27 ...or Erotica, Ray Of Light, Like A Prayer, Music, Bedtime Stories, American Life, etc. 3
byzantium Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Many have. Quality is often subjective among great albums and everyone values different things. The better question here is: what is it about your personal preferences that is representative so well in this album? 2
Mtjjproducer Posted June 28 Posted June 28 Renaissance emotion welcome to the dollhouse future nostalgia eternal sunshine
