The gays are so misogynistic and we don't even know it. These women are not our play toys! She can show her **** if she wants, geez.

It has nothing to do with what she has a right or not to do. She as a woman can do whatever she wants with her body and should feel entitled to do so.

Such however doesn't excuse her from the reality that launching a new era off of a kind of pop hyper-sexuality is going to draw feelings of discomfort when the main name attached to the project is a man accused of rape and who has made it his thing to produce really hyper-sexual pop for women, particularly young women.

Does female pop hyper-sexuality still remain progressive when it's done for the benefit of men who are accused of being sexual predators?

Why do so many projects Dr. Luke finds himself associated with end up being so hyper-sexual? What intentions is the listener meant to assume when seeing his name in the credits? Are the constant reminders of his name next to displays of female sexuality meant to somehow make us forget allegations of sexual violence? Let alone.. what market was there even for **** Pop: Oblivia from Katy Perry?

Yeah now everyone is a prude. Wonder how many gays in here **** a different gay from grindr each day but a woman showing their boobs oh no too much. :rip:

Gays don't have the right to judge women bodies as well...not sure when some thought that was okay.

exactly.  People were BEGGING Katy to go the Harleys in Hawaii "sexy" direction, and now that she has, it's desperate?   She has the hottest body of anyone right now.  More power to her!

They are extremely misogynistic and I doubt they did not notice it.

They are just comfortable hating a woman 24/7.

Love how you fail to understand that each of these scenarios is different. Katy wants to showcase that there is sexuality after motherhood and she feels liberated and good in her skin. Doja due to her aesthetics and the fact that black and brown females are systemically pushed to be more raunchy and sexualised by the industry especially if they are rappers. That is the main way for these girls, to get into the industry. And even then Doja since conception was still sexual. The first commercial video she has (below) is about being eaten out.

This Doja way before Dr. Luke. This is the same girl that gave us I'm A Cow.

Now Kim, sis what? Do you think the girl that gave us Do Me on her debut album, Sex Sex Sex on TOTL, and the **** Pop series was pushed by Luke to be sexual? If anything, Kim pushed him to make more raunchy music, this girl made that man change his entire sound palette to synth-wave and Brazilian bass.

Now time to bop this god tier banger. NSFW.  So can you take it? :jamming:

Spoiler

I just love when men are quick to defend music labels hyper sexualizing their female artists because THEY love it :suburban:

I'm not sure what she's trying to acheive right now. Her behavior is curious this era. It's like she's asking for attention but in a clumsy way. She's looks good and has a nice body but why would you go to a radio station showing up your twins ? :deadbanana:

You've literally not addressed the question of how the listener is meant to interpret messages of female sexual liberation when they're handled and crafted by a male rapist.

I'm sorry but is Dr. Luke singing on the track, is he gonna be in the music video, is he promoting the song on his platforms? No. Unless you are actively looking for his producer credit on Wikipedia, not a soul would know he had a part to play in the song. Also, other producers played a part in creating songs of the not released album. He is mostly likely not the sole producer of the new song.

So, go back to spreading the awareness of his rape allegations by posting notes on Capital Records Hollywood star, making "Katy is foul for this" YouTube videos and going a Katy Perry smear campaign at your local PTA meeting. Get the people outraged so  that we can see real damage because your online efforts to change people ain't working.

Also in a thread about looking good and being sexy, you are being prude for no reason.

So it's misogynistic to say you don't like someone's outfit or their choice to work with a sexual predator, but it's totally fine to spew vile comments at Kesha regarding her SA by said predator

Her label is planting stories with major media outlets about her returning to work with him for this album. It seeks reasonable that there is an overt public connection between Dr. Luke - someone accused of rape - and the song.

Don't respond to him. He wants to derail the entire era. Just ignore him.

Katy has literally chosen to make Dr. Luke the basis of her entire era already. She's made the choice that has set all of this and the fallout in motion. :rip:

I'm sorry if your desire for Hot 100 hits is being disrupted by people's discomfort with empowering a rapist.
