reputation (TV) will 99% likely not have Max Martin or Shellback, instead produced by Christopher Rowe, the producer entrusted by Taylor to recreate most of the songs from albums 1 to 6.

Knowing this, are you still excited for the Taylor's Versions of these songs?

Jack only works on some of the vault tracks or he re-produces songs he originally worked on for the original tracklists (OOTW, IWYW, YAIL) so he'll be the producer for the LWYMMD, Getaway Car, Dress, CIWYW, TIWWCHNT, and NYD.

Most of the rerecorded songs are produced by Christopher Rowe.

It's the first good album she ever made. I don't understand WHY she needs to make it again. I won't be listening.

She's been on this project since 2021. I'm sure you know why she's doing it

Max Martin was at her show recently. Hope that's an indication that he's back?

It makes me nervous

LWYMMD TV sounded horrible in that clip.

Reputation is one of the best pop albums all time imo, out of the pure pop ones it's also her best.

I hope they are careful and she wasn't burn out of the TVs when she recorded it.

@Taylor fanboy I may just go vault only. 1989 TV was an affront to my ears I fear.

No. My hot take is that 99% of the Taylor's versions sound worse than the originals.  Especially the Max Martin tracks, of which there are plenty on Reputation.  Reputation is a very production-centered album, so if she works with Christopher Rowe again, he is going to butcher them.  She needs to get Max back on board for Reputation TV or else it's gonna be wack.

No the re recordings of her pop albums are awful. I'll be listening to the OG

And people who are saying improved vocals nah u can't claim that her voice hasn't really changed since 2017 only her first 3 albums can u tell vocal differences

Christoher Rowe is like pushing 70. Rep TV is probably too technically complicated to for him to produce.

I kinda envy you because the rest of us had to listen to this story over and over and over and over and over and over again lol

The 1989 TV production was abysmal, so I'm not really expecting much here. Honestly all of the pop TV stuff has been really bad; Fearless TV is still the best

Fingers crossed at least Shellback is back. He produced all the Red TV Max Martin songs + Message In A Bottle & also Wildest Dreams TV (I think he didn't do the rest of the 1989TV Max tracks probably due to scheduling conflicts - that has to be the explanation)

My biggest fear is Ready For It. Chris Rowe already botched one of the Ali Payami produced songs - Style TV so he will for sure mess the other one :rip:

It's 2024. You're in every single Taylor Swfit thread. You sure know why she's doing it.

Now the real question is, will Chris Rowe also produce This Is What You Came For (Taylor's Version) since it's kinda confirmed to be added on RepTV? :suburban:

I'm not talking about the literal reasons . I know what she alleges.  I'm exclaiming my frustration that she's about to taint her best album with a a worse version in the name of a few dollars

"I know what she alleges", "In the name of a few dollars". In other words, you don't, or are playing dumb for the sake of it.

I never liked the album, so I don't care tbh. Debut is where the excitement comes in!
