Popular Post My Tears Ricochet Posted June 25 Popular Post Posted June 25 (edited) He basically said Gracie is the most creatively bankrupt artist to get this big since Greta Van Fleet He also mentions about her blatantly ripping off Taylor and being a Walmart Lorde impersonator(vocals) Another point he highlights is that she's gotten access to top producers in the industry at such an early stage of her career due to her nepo privilege and still fails to deliver on tracks due to her dull vocals and lyricism. Popular Post punisher Posted June 25 Popular Post Posted June 25 i can already smell the "he's a misogynist" comments cause people can't cope with the fact she's ass and i just know which fanbase it'll come from 4 23

She's a nepo baby with no talent and she brings nothing new to the table. Her music is just giving "we have Taylor, Lorde, etc at home!" 19 7

Kayseri Mantisi Posted June 25 Posted June 25 I love that he clocked she's an extreme Lorde wannabe 4

Pendulum Posted June 25 Posted June 25 He's correct and he should speak up about it. It's not misogyny if her fans remain oblivious to the objective truth.

I listened to Risk and it sounded like someone doing their best Olivia Rodrigo impersonation Close To You was giving Lorde. Olivia Rodrigo also gives Lorde with her vocal takes so you're probably confused but at least Olivia admits it & always says she's an inspiration, so let's change that with Lorde impersonation.
popmusicisdead Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Sexy Daddy Fantano didn't lie one bit. take the blandest, most faceless "indie" pop out there and dilute it with 2 parts soy milk and you get Gracie Abrams 6 1 2
RussianRoulette Posted June 25 Posted June 25 I never heard of her but since he compared her to two of the most insufferable "singers" I know enough to avoid her. Thanks daddy Fantano. 1
Gladiator Posted June 25 Posted June 25 I tried listening to it but her voice kinda sounded like Olivia Rodrigo which made me want to listen to her instead so I just swapped to Guts. 8

Petra von Kant Posted June 25 Posted June 25 I like gracie's music, good riddance was a good an album, and I like many tracks from the secret of us (especially normal thing) but objectively she's a nepo baby and atp her music is completely unorginal, in the sense it's far from something we haven't already heard approximately a billion times ago from other artists, and the fact that I find her music enjoyable can't change that 3
