I'd say Rihanna, her singles were usually always the most obvious smashes from her albums.

Rihanna's #1s represents her catalog quite well. 
 

I find it impressive that she's managed to get a number #1 hit from every album besides her debut (Pon De Replay was blocked by We Belong Together). 
 

But as someone already mentioned, she has other bops that didn't reach the top spot as well.
