cloudbusting
she had the "first to leave" hype and a Nicki feature and STILL couldn't outlast the other debut releases
RihannaRTT
Did she? 51,734 Boyz (feat Nicki Minaj) 68,400 Don't Say Love meanwhile Forget About US did 41k in 2 weeks so the likelihood is it'll pass 100k if it hasn't already.
nostalgicsupernova
Hmm… nope! The one way that Jesy 'wins' is that she's had the highest charting solo release. Which, in reality, we all know is thanks to the Nicki feature and being the first to go solo. Look at the performance of her second single… And ultimately she's the biggest loser in that when Little Mix eventually reunite, which they will, she won't be getting an invitation. She single handedly removed herself from the equation. They will go on to have a big comeback, new music, and sold out arena tours, and she'll be sat at home, having burnt her bridges with the other girls. It's quite sad, in some respects, but she really did bring it upon herself. And for what? One week in the top 5 with a terrible song that was supported by a terrible video that enabled her to live her black fishing fantasy. How sad and ignorant. Nothing about that screams winner.

penguintim
Leigh-Anne: 2 singles + an EP going platinum on the penguintim charts, peformed her first sold out show with more to follow later this year along with another single Perrie: Another smash hit on the penguintim charts with another one just released, both of which will end up charting in the UK as well. Jade: Highly-anticipated debut imminent with gay twitter onside. Jesy: 1st single planned, dropped by her label, 2nd single failed to chart and has yet to surpass 1.6 million streams after 14 months. Y'all need to stop setting her up like this bc hasn't she suffered enough already......

Nobody won, but at least Leigh-Anne managed to chart another single inside the top 30 and release an EP. Since Perrie's new single is at #45 in the Midweeks, I think Leigh is the real winner here… or even better, the one who flopped less. Zaynsus
It's sad that she ruined her hype with Boyz because her second single is actually good. Nothing original, it sounds like a Billie song but it's still very nice.

mike_int
Honestly non of them released song which was worth the first single. Jesy had the highest peak but her song was basically copy on Bad Boys For Life, and not only the song itself but also the video and must have cost her recording company tons of money. So despite having the highest peak, Im sure they also lost most of the money on it.
