That was back when "Motivation" was released. When we thought we were getting a dark-skinned Pop/RnB superstar. Since going towards mid-tempo R&B only, the hype has slowed down…ironically, b/c those types of songs the reason ppl praise Summer Walker. So, hell, maybe she should've went full on Britney Pop star mode instead. B/c I guess the sultry, sexy R&B sound is not believable coming from her? I'm not sure. "Wild Side" seems to be an anomaly. 1
